FAQ
A one-week student internship gives you the opportunity to get a taste of your favorite job field and get a first-hand impression of everyday life at stoba. This gives you a personal impression of the working conditions, the diverse range of tasks and the different career opportunities. After all, your own first-hand experience is indispensable!
At stoba, we welcome every application and are happy to take the time to talk to you! A good high school diploma is sufficient to qualify for an apprenticeship. Every year, we offer 17 apprenticeship spots. Regardless of your gender, we at stoba value the individual strengths and talents of each individual!
Apprenticeship payment is based on the collective wage agreements for the respective apprenticeship occupations.
Of course, no one is left behind during their training at stoba. Our trainers are there to support you and guide you through all the tasks that lie ahead. Older trainee colleagues also provide support (in word and deed) and are always happy to give helpful tips. Through this, you also benefit from the great internal cohesion at stoba!
Your individual interests are clearly a priority for us. As a certified training company, we at stoba have already proven the quality of our training in the past. During your apprenticeship, you will complete a full rotation in each department, each lasting six weeks. There, you will be taught systematically and in a practical manner by a training officer. This gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in each department. Through this and by the end of your apprenticeship, you will know for sure which area is right for you.
Of course! After all, industry is one of the most diverse and important sectors of the economy! Besides hands on skills and dexterity, stoba also requires skills in technical understanding and spatial awareness. Here you will get to know both manual and computer-aided machine systems. CNC machining and pneumatics will become just as familiar to you as turning and milling. So you will definitely be offered an exciting and varied working environment!
Training at stoba is absolutely project-oriented. Here, everyone has the opportunity to supervise a project independently during their apprenticeship. This includes planning, materials procurement, production, quality control and costing right through to the finished end product. The task may be anything from the production of a chess set to a model vehicle. This gives you the opportunity to work independently during your apprenticeship!
Thanks to a constantly growing market, stoba is internationally oriented. If you perform exceptionally well during your apprenticeship, you can qualify for a training period at one of stoba's sites abroad. You can choose from sister plants in China, England and the Czech Republic. The costs and organization of the trip are covered in full by stoba, so you can fully immerse yourself in the foreign country!

1. Show us your interest
If you already have an internship to show that you have had a taste of the job you're interested in, that's always an advantage! Through this, you prove your honest interest in the job and show us your real commitment. This is a great first step in collecting your first plus points.
2. The future is digital
We are looking forward to your digital application, sending it by mail (postal service) is not necessary.
3. The first impression counts
For job interviews we attach importance to punctuality and a well-groomed appearance. Use your chance to make a positive first impression. Also, ensure to plan enough time to show us that the apprenticeship position is very important to you.
4. Always be prepared
Company knowledge and a sound knowledge of your desired profession in combination with a polite and confident demeanor round out the image of you. It is also not unusual for us to conduct an aptitude test. If you are invited to take such a test, do not fail to prepare yourself accordingly.
5. Stay available
Always leave your personal contact details as well as information on how you can best be reached for feedback, so that we can contact you easily.
