We are looking for an experienced Development engineer (no gender pref.) for electromagnetic compatibility for our excellent development team. You will experience day-one-culture and you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented people. WHAT YOU DO.

  • Development of EMC-compliant concepts and solutions for 48 V power electronics
  • Support and implementation of EMC precompliance and compliance measurements
  • Characterisation and optimisation of components and assemblies with regard to EMC
  • Preparation of standard-compliant test specifications for control units and power electronics of low-voltage high-current projects
  • Execution and coordination of EMC tests
  • Preparation of corresponding test reports and implementation of the findings into the design
  • Representation of EMC issues to system partners, customers and suppliers
  • Development support for hardware and software EMC problems
  • Elaboration and detailing of EMC requirements with customers

WHAT YOU BRING.

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering or a comparable field
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in the field of EMC (automotive industry or related industries)
  • Knowledge of EMC-compliant electronics and power electronics design
  • Knowledge of relevant automotive and off-highway EMC standards
  • Experience with EMC measurement
  • Expertise in electronics, measurement and high frequency technology
  • Independent, systematic and analytical way of working
  • Assumption of responsibility for your projects and flexible approach to change
  • Strong communication skills that enable you to work successfully with your colleagues and other departments
  • Good knowledge of German and English
