Review of the 2021 trade show season at stoba

After a majority of all events were canceled in 2020 due to the Corona crisis, a number of trade fairs were held again this year in which stoba also participated. With stands at a total of five different trade fairs, stoba Customized Machinery and stoba e-Systems were able to present their products and services to trade visitors and make valuable contacts.

CIMT

This year's trade fair season began in April with the China International Machine Tool Exhibition in Beijing, one of the largest international trade fairs in the industry. stoba Customized Machinery presented the alpha Basic machine with ECM technology here and enjoyed great interest from the many visitors to its stand. With more than 1,500 companies from 27 countries and over 200,000 visitors, the trade show was a great success, despite continued travel restrictions.

DeburringEXPO Karlsruhe

DeburringEXPO, the leading trade fair for deburring technologies and precision surfaces, took place in October for the fourth time and was the first presence event in Germany for stoba Customized Machinery since the Corona crisis. In addition to the presentation of the latest developments in ECM and PECM machining, a special highlight was the lecture by Hans-Joachim Konietzni in the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Forum. Under the title "Planning an ECM project for deburring hydraulic components", he gave the trade audience insights into the project planning of customer-oriented ECM processing machines and possibilities for reducing investment costs. This trade fair also fulfilled all expectations and generated valuable exchanges and new contacts.

COMPAMED

490 exhibitors and 46,000 visitors from 150 nations - that is the conclusion of COMPAMED 2021, which took place in Düsseldorf in November. stoba was particularly pleased about the great interest in its booth. This is because, in addition to its proven laser technology, stoba Customized Machinery was also able to present its new, visual AI-controlled inspection machine to the medical trade public over four days of the trade fair, attracting attention with this innovation.

MSV

At the International Engineering Fair in Brno in November, stoba also presented its innovative inspection machine - and even received an MSV gold medal for it in the category of Innovation in Automation Technology and Industry 4.0. The committee was impressed by the use of artificial intelligence, rapid measurement data analysis through machine learning, and the machine's ability to be trained to detect even very rare defects. Thus, the Czech trade show generated a lot of interest in stoba and its services and exceeded all expectations.

Construction Equipment Forum

stoba e-Systems was represented at the Construction Equipment Forum in Berlin, the leading conference for construction equipment, from November 3-4. More than 500 visitors and 60 companies and sponsors were able to discuss the latest developments in the industry and present their innovations. For stoba, the two days of the exhibition were a complete success, not only increasing its visibility in the scene but also attracting new potential customers and suppliers. The first follow-up talks have already been held, and more have been agreed!
